Sumi-Chinese Watercolor
Sumi painting is also called Sumi-E. Sumi is Chinese characters with Japanese pronunciation. Sumi means Water and Ink. In tradition it narrows to black and white ink painting, but it actually represents an Asian watercolor style. Yuming Zhu is a well-known Sumi Master originally trained from great masters from China, now he resides at NW US and show his versatile fine art and teaches art at Belleuve College and workshops through various art organizations and stores nationwide.
