Love the absorbency
I love this paper but do not use it for Chinese calligraphy. I use it for contemporary art projects and love the fact that the paper is so absorbent I can bleed markers through it. Also, it is very economical which allows for constant, cost efficient experimentation.

I am a beginning chinese calligraphy student and the quickness of my strokes is not as fluid as with professionals, so I find that Best Shuan is a little less absorbent and forgiving of my slower brush stroke speed. It is the most economical of the papers and I use it for both practice and final work.
